What is a non-surgical nose job?
Any type of in-clinic procedure, whether it’s a basic facial or a filler, must be tailored to your face and its specific needs.
A non-surgical nose job, also known as a nose filler, is an in-clinic procedure in which we evaluate your current nose, measure it, and determine how we can reshape it in the best way possible for your overall face shape.
We use liquid fillers to lift areas of your nose that need it in order to create the perfect nose for your face shape and one that works in tandem with the rest of your features.
We can also use threads to lift your nose or narrow the width of your nostril flare, and botox to prevent the tip of your nose from moving downwards when you smile and to narrow the nostril flare.
How does it work?
We examine the bridge of the nose, dorsal humps (the bumps on the nose), also known as the nasal bridge, the nasolabial angle, and the angle between the nose and the chin during a non-surgical rhinoplasty.
All of these factors enable us to create a great nose using non-surgical options such as fillers rather than invasive surgery. We can easily improve the angle of the nose bridge with fillers.
As an example:
If it’s too sharp, we can smooth it out and make it gentle.
If there are any dorsal humps or bumps, we can smooth them out.
In fact, when something appears to be less bumpy and more smooth, it appears to be less wide.
The bumpier it is, the more your eye is drawn to it, making it appear wider. The possibilities are endless, and more importantly, they can be tailored to your specific face and needs.
What’s the procedure like?
Following your consultation, we will design a new shape for your nose and determine the number of sessions required to complete the treatment.
While we can do it in one session, we prefer to do it over at least two sessions to give you time to adjust to your new shape.
We could also do it in three sessions if we need to make a few more adjustments or look into finer details after the first two.
If you are dissatisfied with the results, we can reverse the portions you want to be changed or the entire treatment. The procedure is far less painful than you might think.
We numb the area before injecting fillers into your nose, which takes 10-20 minutes.
Which areas are targeted as part of this procedure?
The areas targeted for non-surgical nasal rhinoplasty are determined by the needs of your nose. If we need to lift a drooping nasal tip, we will only fill that area to push it upwards, similar to a cartilage graft.
This improves the appearance of your nose without the need for surgery.
If you want to smooth out the entire length of your nose and remove all bumps, we will need to use the filler along the entire length of your nose.
We can also use fillers to achieve a makeup-like effect, similar to how you would use a highlighter along the centre of your nose to make it appear narrower.
When we apply a thin vertical line of filler down your nose, it reflects light like a highlighter and makes your nose appear more contoured without the use of any products.
Consider it a living embodiment of the adage “I woke up like this.”
We can project the chin instead of the nose if your nose to chin angle is too large and the nose projects forward more than the chin. This is known as the Tinkerbell lift.
We examine your nose from both the front and side profiles. If your nose is too large, adding a filler to your chin will make it appear smaller and more proportionate.
Who’s the best candidate for a nose job?
Personal preference is very important when it comes to cosmetic treatments. We can help you make your nose look more suited to your face if it appears wider than you’d like, drawing attention to it, or even more prominent than your chin.
Because this is a cosmetic procedure rather than a medical one, it is best suited for people who want to change or improve the appearance of their noses.
What can you expect after the treatment?
Expect temporary redness, swelling, and sensitivity after the treatment, which should go away within 24 hours. Because the procedure only entails injecting a filler into your nose rather than making any incisions, you should be able to resume your normal routine within a few days.
How can you prepare for your treatment?
Avoid green tea and Omega-3 fatty acids from foods like seafood, nuts and seeds, and plant-based oils a day before your treatment to prepare for your nose filler.
